Orlando Talent Stars in Upcoming Zombie Film

Some of you may remember back in 2007 a young rising vocalist and musician by the name of Michelle Elise, or better known as, Syren. At just 19 years old this young piece of Orlando raised talent took the club and dance music scene by storm. By 2009, Michelle had hit the charts of Beat Port and the radio waves of XL106.7 fronting the group "Odyssey". Well known for their unique sound infused with break beats, electro house, and progressive trance, the group was seen performing live in some of the hottest events and venues around, such as Winter Music Conference, Langarado Music Festival, Spring Stock Festival, Club Firestone, and House of Blues. In late 2009, Michelle ventured off into multiple new solo projects, dropping the name Syren and taking on her own natural persona of Michelle Elise. She continued performing at events like the World Wake Board Championships, and began her personal non-profitable project "Artists for the Environment" raising money for other non-profits like the "Amazon Conservation Team" & "The National Wildlife Federation". Joining forces with Grammy nominated producer and engineer, Chris Domingo, they released her first international top seller, "Organica", on world famous recording label "Blackhole Recordings".

In 2011, Michelle began to pursue a career in live acting. In January of 2011, Theatre Downtown of Orlando, Fl opened its doors to the city for what would be known as one of Orlando's best shows yet, "Chicago", directed by Steve Mackinnon. Starring in the role of Roxie Hart, Michelle had found what would be recognized by many admirers as her "niche". Claimed to be the shows "Best Discovery" by the Orlando Weekly, she had finally felt her feet hit the ground running. We are very excited for our young star and her recent achievements, but what really has us going, is her latest venture into the cinematic arts. Currently, Michelle Elise is performing as one of the lead female roles in the locally filmed feature length zombie movie; "Rockabilly Zombie Weekend"; directed by Jaime Velez-Soto, www.rockabillyzombieweekend.com which is expected to release in 2013. We hope that this is the beginning of a long lived career in film and the arts and that we see her rise to the top of the industry as we have seen her do in our home town & we will be sure to catch up with her later for more info on the up-coming film. Congratulations Michelle and "break a leg!"
